What’s involved?

Within the sessions the children will work on creative projects, such as creating a radio jingle or a radio advert to writing full songs. Through these projects the children will engage with a variety of different aspects of music.

They will learn about different genres of music in order to understand the different roles music can play in society. From the story telling of folk music to the feel good factor of pop music.

They will engage with lots of different equipment and pieces of software from midi keyboards, guitars, singing through to reverb, delay, EQ, compression and much more.

These sessions really do allow the children to engage deeply with all aspects of music and to do so at their own pace in a fun and friendly environment entirely led by them.
